Founded in 2008, Cyclehoop has installed over 5,000 Bikehangar parking facilities across the United Kingdom. But there’s much more: they are responsible for eye-catching and varied racks, attractive bike parking solutions, stair ramps, or parking modules and Bikehangars.
It is arguably the European leader in manufacturing secure bicycle parking solutions. Their products have won international awards, transforming all sorts of spaces to make them cyclist-friendly, and they operate in more than 16 countries worldwide.
And, on top of all that, they have entrusted Don Cicleto’s technology to manage access control for their parking facilities.
Don Cicleto’s SaaS has enabled Cyclehoop to digitize access control and operation of their Bikehangars.
The collaboration with Cyclehoop began in Glasgow (Scotland) in August 2023, coinciding with the UCI Cycling World Championships trials, when a network of 20 Bikehangars for bikes and cargobikes operated with Don Cicleto’s technology was created.
From there, Don Cicleto is assisting Cyclehoop in the progressive digitization of their thousands of Bikehangars in the United Kingdom.

Among other benefits, the use of Don Cicleto’s technology has enabled Cyclehoop to adopt a new pay-per-use model, which was not possible before with physical access cards, an innovation that will allow them to expand their offering beyond their residential Bikehangar network and establish their product in other high-traffic areas.

Lastly, it allows them to gather usage data from their Bikehangars to optimize demand and real-time space availability without managing physical cards or access keys, resulting in significant cost reductions.
