Don Cicleto partners with Bike Oasis to power the next generation of smart bike parking in North America

Bike Oasis, a new benchmark in secure and accessible cycling infrastructure, is taking a major step forward through a strategic alliance with Don Cicleto to bring an innovative bike-parking solution to North America, combining reliability, automation, and a seamless user experience within a single integrated system.

In Québec, this combined solution is delivered through COMP-X Canada. Outside the province, it is offered by Timeless eBikes, supporting organizations across both Canada and the United States.

This alliance ensures that every Bike Oasis + Velovoute installation delivers world-class performance from day one, backed by a platform already trusted across Europe.

Bike Oasis is powered through a strategic alliance with Don Cicleto, Europe’s most advanced and field-tested platform for secure, connected bicycle parking. Their technology—proven across numerous installations—provides the reliability, automation, and user experience we need to accelerate active-mobility infrastructure across North America.

The Bike Oasis platform works seamlessly with The Velovoute, enabling secure access control, smart padlocks, e-bike charging, real-time availability, and full administrative management in a single integrated solution. Together, they form a true turnkey system that municipalities, campuses, and property owners can deploy with confidence.

Digitizing bike parking with Don Cicleto’s technology

The joint Bike Oasis + Velovoute solution is powered by Don Cicleto’s access-control SaaS platform, specifically designed for cycling infrastructure.

Manufacturers and operators can rely on a flexible, low-cost digital layer that transforms traditional hardware into connected, intelligent mobility infrastructure.

The solution includes:

  • A customizable white-label app where users can register their account, view real-time availability, register their bicycles, make reservations, check their usage history, and access Bike Oasis stations without physical keys or cards.
  • An administration dashboard to manage the entire network—stations, users, access control, occupancy, payments, and usage data.

Together, these capabilities create a seamless experience to deploy bike-parking solutions that are secure, scalable, and digitally connected.

Why Velovoute + Bike Oasis + Don Cicleto is a breakthrough

Traditional smart bike-parking solutions are often bulky, expensive, and limited—frequently missing essentials such as e-bike charging or personal storage.

Velovoute changes this paradigm by offering:

  • a more compact footprint
  • significantly lower deployment costs
  • integrated storage
    e-bike charging
  • a proven track record of zero theft across existing stations

Until now, Velovoute’s stations were non-smart units. Through this alliance, all existing locations will appear in the new Bike Oasis app, while new stations will launch with full smart capabilities from day one, powered by Don Cicleto’s technology.

This creates a unified ecosystem where organizations can deploy both traditional and smart stations with complete digital oversight.

Velovoute is such an interesting product, and I look forward to seeing many more of them deployed across North America. Daniel has been a pleasure to work with—his enthusiasm and deep knowledge of the bicycle space make every collaboration incredibly productive.

From infrastructure to service: why cycling infrastructure must go digital

For decades, cycling infrastructure was defined by hardware. Robust bike racks, secure lockers, protective hangars, and durable shelters set the standard. Reliability and safety were the primary benchmarks of quality. Those attributes remain essential. But today, they are no longer enough. Cycling infrastructure is increasingly expected to function not just as a physical asset, but as a connected service.
